Faults & warranty
Your statutory rights, manufacturer warranties and how to report a fault.
On this page
1Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. By law, what we sell must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, taking into account its price and its condition as described. If it is not:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject it for a full refund;
- after that, you can ask for a repair or a replacement; if that is not possible, or the repair or replacement does not work, you can have a price reduction or a refund, which may be reduced for the use you have had if it is more than 6 months after delivery;
- a fault that shows within 6 months of delivery is treated as having been there when it was delivered, unless we can show otherwise; after 6 months, you may need to show that it was;
- you can claim up to 6 years after delivery (5 years in Scotland).
2No separate warranty
Unless a product page states otherwise, we do not provide an additional commercial warranty. If a product page does state a multibargain warranty, the page sets out its length, what it covers, any exclusions and how to claim.
3Manufacturer warranties
Some products may carry a manufacturer's warranty. It is provided by the manufacturer, not by us, on the manufacturer's terms, eligibility rules and proof-of-purchase requirements, and may not pass to a new owner. We only say a manufacturer's warranty applies where a product page states it.
4What is not treated as a fault
The following are not normally treated as faults where they happen after delivery:
- accidental or liquid damage
- misuse or tampering
- unauthorised repair or modification
- damage from incorrect installation, incompatible accessories or the wrong voltage
- cosmetic wear that was shown or described on the product page
- consumables, such as ear tips, and normal battery ageing in line with the item's age and use
5How to report a fault
Find your order on Track your order, choose Start a return and the reason "It is faulty", and describe the problem. You can also email us at customerservice@multibargain.com with your order number and a short description. To help us resolve it quickly, we may ask for a short photo or video, for example of how it powers on, a pairing problem, an error message or a physical fault. We will not ask for anything excessive.
If the item is faulty, we cover the return postage. See Returns & refunds. If the item can store data, please back it up and remove it first, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
